FITTER'S SCHOOL HELD AT GCS | 16 December 2009

GCS hosted maintenance staff from several of their customers on December 10th and 11th at their Minto premises. Attendees came from Hanson's Wolfdene Quarry as well as from Sunshine Coast Quarries and Nucrush. Ron Lane, an acknowledged expert in rollercone and flat screen technology, was flown in by GCS specifically from the USA to conduct the class which was an exercise to familiarise these companies maintenance staff with the rollercone and flat screen.
Each day began with a technical discussion and then it was down to the workshop for the 'hands on' experience.
GCS believe that the two days were a success and are now looking to hold theses instruction days for their Cedarapids customers on an annual basis.
The above photos show everyone looking over an Terex MVP450 as it is stripped down.
