We needed to increase our primary jaw throughput after successful installing a new 400hp tertiary cone and scalping screen in the plant the previous year. As Global had performed this install successfully we approached them for the primary jaw upgrade solution. After much design consultation and planning within our company and with Global we gave the go ahead for the installation of a new Lippmann 3862ST jaw to replace our Kemco 4842 DT jaw. The installation was carried out in a very professional manner and within a limited time period.
The new jaw has surpassed our expectations with an increase of approx. 200 tph, a finer grading for our secondary cone and the ability to choke feed the tertiary crusher. All of these benefits have enabled us to balance the whole plant better, reduce the need for overtime and increase our stockpile availability.”
